(Junior) Associate Finance & Banking

To support its ambitions and current growth, Monard Law is looking for a (Junior) Associate Banking & Finance to strengthen its tax law team in Brussels and/or Antwerp.

As a (Junior) Associate in Banking & Finance Law at Monard Law, your role will include:

• Providing legal expertise and advice to clients in the banking and financial sector.
• Handling complex legal matters related to banking regulations, financial transactions, compliance, and litigation.
• Drafting contracts, analyzing financial agreements, staying up to date with regulatory developments, and representing clients in negotiations or legal proceedings.

• You hold a Master of Law degree from a Belgian university, preferably with honors. An additional qualification is a plus!
• Ideally, you have 3-4 years of relevant experience in banking and finance law, but don’t hesitate to apply even if you have slightly less experience.
• You are fluent in Dutch with a very good command of French and English.
• Strong knowledge of banking regulations.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills are essential for success in this role.
• You are entrepreneurial, highly driven, solution-oriented, and pragmatic.
• You have a good sense of humor and the ability to put things into perspective.
